We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

Analytics & Your Choices

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages, bedroom styles, and tool steps are useful. Analytics may process page views, product interaction events, device and browser details, and approximate location. We do not send your uploaded room photo to Google Analytics, and private result identifiers in /r/... links are removed from the page path before analytics receives it.

Our consent behavior reflects the regions we serve:

• United States and other regions that do not require prior opt-in. Analytics storage is enabled by default. You can reject analytics at any time from the privacy notice or the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice applies to future analytics storage in that browser.
• European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Analytics storage is disabled until you explicitly allow it.
• Advertising. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and the use of analytics data for advertising remain disabled. We will update this policy and ask for the appropriate choice before introducing advertising features.

We save your analytics choice in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on later visits. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer whenever you want to change that choice. Google processes analytics data under its own Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• Process transactions and send related confirmations.
• Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
• Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited cases:

• With service providers who help us operate the service, under confidentiality agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, export, or delete your personal information. You can do this through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@aibedroomdesign.com.

Uploaded Photos & AI Processing

When you upload a photo of your room, here is exactly what happens to it:

• Processing. Your photo is sent to our AI image processor (fal.ai) to create the redesigned version. It is used only to generate your design.
• What we store. Your uploaded photo and our record of the result are stored for up to 30 days, solely to power your private result link (/r/...), and are deleted from our systems automatically after that.
• Where generated images live. Generated images are produced and served by our AI processing provider's content network; we store only the link. We instruct the provider, on every generation request, to expire the generated image after the same 30-day window and not to retain the request data that contains your photo. We are moving image hosting fully in-house so that one deletion removes everything.
• Link-based access. Result links are unlisted and protected by a random identifier. Anyone who has the link can view that result — treat the link like the picture itself when sharing.
• No training by us. We never use your photos to train AI models, never sell them, and never publish them unless you share your link yourself.
• Earlier deletion. Want a result removed before it expires? Email hello@aibedroomdesign.com with the result link and we will delete our stored copy and result record.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
